Recently, Smart Engineering and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC – BarcelonaTech) have sealed their commitment and colaboration by becoming the former a Spin-off of the university. By taking this step, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia recognises the talent and innovation of Smart Engineering in the scopes of engineering, the materials technology, sustainability and the value analysis.
BASF Construction Chemicals Spain and Smart Engineering signed a new contract on May 4th, 2014. This new collaboration between both companies consolidates the position of Smart Engineering as a key innovation collaborator. The main objective of the proyect is to compare the global sustainability of sprayed concrete depending on the type of set accelerating admixture used (alkali-rich or alkali-free).
