Industrial Engineer (ETSEIB, UPC, 2012), Master in Structural Engineering (ETSECCPB, UPC, 2013) and PhD in Construction Engineering (ETSECCPB, UPC, 2017) passionate about challenges and applied research in industry.
In the field of research, he has specialized in the numerical modeling of concrete degradation processes, in advanced data analysis techniques (machine learning) and in the application of digital technologies in civil engineering (photogrammetry and intelligent sensorization).
Since 2011, he has combined his academic training with activities at universities and construction companies internationally. It is worth mentioning his stays at Wuhan University (China) and Loughborough University (United Kingdom) and his professional activity as a structural engineer at Ove Arup & Partners (China) and Concrete Preservation Technologies (United Kingdom).
Since 2019, he works for Smart Engineering in projects related to the quality control of concrete, the diagnosis of dams and in the development of products based on digital technologies for resistance control and automatic detection of abnormal behaviors.
As for teaching activity, since 2020 he combines his work in research and development projects with that of associate professor in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering.
